The ReTouch projekt’s aim was to intervene in the fabric of Târgu Mureș society, to bring it to life through art, revealing its forgotten stories and triggering its self-healing processes. ReTouch targeted the city’s most representative public and private spaces, its typical or unusual themes. The invited artists created eight individual or collaborative project in different locations around the city.
The presentation of the project in Sfântu Gheorghe will take place in the company of József Bartha and Kata Zrínyi Ungvári – curators of Retus 2022 – and Szilárd Miklós, visual artist. With this occasion the documentation of the ReTouch interventions will be on display in the basement of the MAGMA Contemporary Art Space.
The project was co-financed by the National Cultural Fund and the Târgu Mureș City Hall. The project does not necessarily represent the position of the co-financiers. They are not responsible for the content of the project or the way in which the results of the project may be used. These are entirely up to the beneficiary of the funding.
