Reacting to the current situation, the exhibition of the MAGMA Contemporary Art Space entitled :the Collection In the Time of a (Never-Ending) State of Alert offers a selection of artworks from the collection of the MAGMA.

The exhibition displays again for the public those artworks which reflect, through various themes in the context of the pandemic, on the uncertain, crisis situation recently experienced by all of us. All these works – albeit created, without exception, before 2020 – provide the possibility for reinterpretation, condensing, showing in a concentrated form the new reality suddenly formed by the pandemic, determined worldwide by emergency decisions, curfews, border lockdowns, furloughs, mass redundancies and their short-term consequences.
