EXHIBITION EXTENDED UNTIL 15 JANUARY 2026!
Robert Gutowski’s architecture office was founded in 2004 in Budapest. Their diverse work includes cultural, residential, and educational buildings, spaces for both the private and public sectors, as well as religious buildings.
At the exhibition, the local audience can also view one of the designs awarded a shared second prize in the architectural competition for the New Transylvanian Art Centre. In the competition two second-place and two third-place projects were previously awarded. The competition, published in May, called for the design of a new Art Centre in Sfântu Gheorghe to serve the current Bod Péter County Library, the Tamási Áron Theatre, M Studio, the Cimborák Puppet Theatre, the EMŰK Gallery, and the new concert hall of the Székelyföld Philharmonic.
Visitors may also discover a selection of outstanding works from the architectural office’s two decades of activity, created by the following architects: Robert Gutowski, Anikó Bánhidi-Kovács, Adrienn Bársony, Regina Bebesi-Kovács, Gáspár Bollok, Gábor Szilveszter Boronkay, Dóra Darida, Barnabás Dely-Steindl, Benedek Egressy, Zsuzsanna Gácsi, Norbert Péter Horváth, Márton Hunyady, Péter Kaknics, Eszter Kovács, Hunor László Kovács, Béla Ákos Szokolay, Bence Tóth, Éva Varga / Zsuzsanna B. Iszak, Tamás Borosházi, Éva Csörgőné Ivanics, Tünde Fekete, Krisztina Geigerné Czikk, Kornél Sipos, Norbert Takács, Árpád Tóth.
The office operates as a creative community, with high-quality architectural and engineering general design at the center of its activities. They follow projects from the initial concept through to completion, paying special attention to the harmony between the site, the client, and the architectural concept. They cultivate long-term, trust-based relationships with their clients, which they consider their greatest recognition and source of inspiration.
